    This overlooks the gold medal won by the fine folks at Milton Creamery, Milton Iowa, who won for their Prairie Breeze in category 5206: Mature Block Creamery Cheddar made between 1/8/2009 – 23/11/2009.
    They were the only American winner among 11 UK cheddars.

      I ahve added this winner to the list – sorry about the omission – as I don’t know every USA producer, I used the word “select” – no disrespect meant.
