UPDATED 4/14/2011 – More cheeses will be added in the next few days – please check back… the new additions are in red. With special thanks to Gordon Edgar for pointing out some entries that needed correcting and/or clarifying. Gordon’s new book, Cheesemonger: A Life on the Wedge, has just been published – be sure and check it out.

To assist our Raw Foodies, The Lady and I have put together this quick list of cheeses made using raw milk. Cheeses (sold in the United States) using raw milk must be aged a minimum of 60 days per the FDA.

As we discover more, we will update the list. We will also be adding links to all cheeses when available.

The Lady and I thank the cheesemakers who contributed information for this list: Beecher’s (Julie), Beehive Cheese Company (Alicia), Bellwether Farms (Lenny), Cypress Grove (Charles), Fisccalini Farmstead Cheeses (John), Gothberg Farms (Rhonda).

If you have cheeses to add to the list, please make a comment below and we’ll add them.
